Hi, there! My name is Jana and I’m a 26 year old artist based in Cologne, Germany.
I like painting portraits of beautiful women, animals, plants and most of the time I add a quote, a poem or a sentence that fits best. The words I incorporate are always written by me. As for materials, I like using ballpoint pen, watercolors, gouache and pencils. But I always experiment with new supplies like ink or spray paint.
I am now running my own small business, where I sell art prints, stationery and other cute things. I also have an amazing community on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest and am working on building my YouTube channel, as well. * Thank you for your support! *
I’ve always been drawn to creative things. And most people would probably say that I got my talent from my mother, who is also an artist. But I would say that that’s not true. I definitely got my love for art from her but my so called “talent” came from very hard work and patience.
I started my art journey in 2016. Before that, I didn’t really draw at all. But one day, and I don’t know what exactly lead me to the decision, I bought a sketchbook and started drawing. I was so determined to learn how to draw faces - I had never been so determined to do anything in my life. I never stopped and now I’m here. I couldn’t imagine my life without art anymore. I feel like it’s the meaning of life for me because it makes me so happy.
